Mural and Wall Art in Nairobi: Artists for Custom Murals, Graffiti, and Canvas Commissions

Wall art gives a space a voice that paint and furniture cannot. A hand-painted mural in a children’s bedroom, a graffiti feature wall in a café, or a large abstract in a corporate lobby creates a focal point that no mass-produced print can match. Nairobi has a thriving community of mural artists, graffiti crews, and portrait painters whose work now appears on the city’s streets, in hotel lobbies, and in private homes. Commissioning original art is straightforward once the artist understands the wall size, theme, and finish required. The providers below offer mural, graffiti, and custom wall art services in Nairobi.

1. Wallart Kenya

Corporate clients increasingly commission murals for reception areas and meeting rooms. A bespoke artwork rooted in the company’s brand colours communicates identity more memorably than framed stock photography.

2. BSQ Crew

Graffiti and street art have moved decisively from underground to mainstream in Nairobi. Businesses now commission crews like BSQ to bring colour and energy to facades, perimeter walls, and hospitality venues. Schools and estate associations have followed, using murals to discourage littering and to celebrate local identity at a scale that paint alone never achieves.

3. Book An Artist Nairobi

Commissioning platforms make it easy to compare portfolios, budgets, and reviews before committing, which is particularly useful for first-time commissioners who want to see an artist’s previous work first.

5. Wallpaper Kenya (Custom Murals)

For clients who love the mural concept but require exact reproducibility, printed wallpaper murals offer a useful alternative to hand painting. Any image, from a family portrait to a company logo, can be printed in seamless panels and installed in a single day, which suits businesses that cannot close for extended painting.
